At LOUPE Americas, A B Graphic International (ABG) highlighted its range of flexible packaging capabilities. The company debuted ABG FlexPack, which headlined the its largest-ever exhibition presence.

ABG displayed 14 machines and systems spanning flexible packaging, labels, RFID converting and premium embellishment. ABG demonstrated how converters can improve productivity, quality, and profitability through integrated finishing and converting solutions.

In making its debut, the Galaxy GS20 Plus with Pouch Jet provided visitors with the first opportunity to see ABG FlexPack in action. ABG engineered this range to meet growing demand for short-run and value-added flexible packaging production. In addition, the solution extends ABG’s proven finishing expertise into the rapidly expanding flexible packaging sector.

RFID was also a major focus on the stand. ABG showcased its advanced RFID Converting Line featuring NSU and Vectra technologies. ABG designed this line to support the increasing adoption of smart packaging and connected products. Plus, the system combines precise converting with advanced inspection to deliver reliable, high-quality RFID production. Converters can add dry tags with the Tamarack system, allowing for increased speeds.

Finishing and embellishments

Visitors were among the first in the region to experience the DigiLase Duo laser finishing system. Designed for high-speed digital label and packaging production, DigiLase Duo delivers precision laser cutting, creasing, and perforating. This occurs without the need for conventional tooling. This enables faster job changes and greater production flexibility.

A dedicated Wine Specification Digicon also demonstrated premium embellishment and finishing capabilities for wine and spirits applications. Meanwhile, additional equipment on display will include the Packaging Lines Static Machine, TI200, Vectra, DigiLite, Horizon, and Entry-Level SRI and SR inspection systems. Together, the portfolio illustrated ABG’s ability to support converters of every size, from specialist producers through to high-volume manufacturing operations.

Matt Burton, ABG’s global sales director, said, “LOUPE Americas provided the perfect platform to introduce ABG FlexPack to the North American market. As demand for flexible packaging continues to grow, converters are seeking technologies that enable them to expand their capabilities without compromising efficiency or quality. ABG FlexPack has been developed to help customers do exactly that.

“Alongside FlexPack, RFID continues to be an increasingly important area of investment for many converters as brands look to improve traceability, authentication, and supply chain visibility,” he adds. “Our technologies are designed to help customers confidently embrace these opportunities, whether they’re producing labels, flexible packaging, or smart packaging applications.

“Being able to offer our customers this wide range of solutions along with the solutions ABG is well known for shows our dedication and understanding of the evolving label market, and we’re excited to continue providing solutions to our customers that allows them to grow,” concludes Burton.
